While it was initially her husband's inspiring physical feat of 50 full distance triathlons in 50 states in 50 days that brought the knowledge Sunny into my life, it wasn't until I became a mom a few years later that I could fully appreciate all that she did during that endeavor and the kind of example she is as a mother and a woman with genuine joy and resilience.
So it is my honor to bring to you Sunny Jo Lawrence. She is a mom to 5 and wife to James Lawrence (aka the "Iron Cowboy" who has conquered massive feats in the world of endurance sports). This mama is clearly BUSY, yet has always had the drive and discipline to prioritize her own health.
In this episode, Sunny shares how she grew to love fitness, her experience having 5 children in just under 7 years, staying active throughout her pregnancies, how to identify your strengths & priorities, what has kept her from falling into a victim mindset despite many life challenges, and how choosing joy leads to living a life of discipline.
